On January 25, nearly 1200 employees of the Company gathered cheerily at Nanjing International Exhibition Center to celebrate the fruitful 2007 and the more promising 2008. On the meeting, Dr. Blumenberg, president of the Company, expressed his gratitude to all the staff for their great efforts in the past year, which turned into satisfying economic results of the Company, then outlined the major tasks this year, hoping all the staff to refresh themselves and make continued efforts. Mr. Li Chengfeng, the BOD Chairman of the Company, delivered a warm speech and encouraged all the staff to make greater achievements in 2008.

The awarding ceremonies of Improvement Suggestion and Employee Photography Competition were also held respectively on the meeting. Two colleagues from C4-oxo,C1 production department were awarded with Improvement Suggestion Prize for their suggestion on Optimization of Oxogas Consumption, which not only stabilized the operation of OXO and Syngas Plants, but also brought significant economic benefits. In the year 2007, a company-wide photography competition was held, focusing on the plants and employees at work. In all, over 170 employees contributed more than 500 photos, 12 of which were chosen as the Top Prize.
