Recommended and preliminarily inspected by Nanjing Safety Supervision Bureau, then examined and accepted by Jiangsu Provincial Safety Supervision Bureau and the expert panel followed by the public notification on Internet, BASF-YPC Company Limited (BYC) finally won the award as "Model Company with Good Faith" for its safe production, strong conception on safety improvement, fulfillment of safety responsibilities, extensive public recognition on safe production and good safety record. Totally 26 enterprises of all types in Jiangsu Province were awarded such honor, and only two in Nanjing.

In 2008 BYC was once more awarded "Outstanding Special Equipment Safety Management Enterprise" by Nanjing Quality & Technology Supervision Bureau, and ranked the first on the list. It is the fourth time that the Company gains this prize due to the consistent and excellent management on the special equipments including pressure vessel, pressure pipe, boiler, pressure cylinder, safety valve, in-house crane, elevator, vehicle, etc..

Besides, BYC was also awarded in 2008 as "Advanced Company on Safe Production" and "Advanced Company on Fire Prevention". Mr. Chen Yibo from C4-oxo,C1 Production Department of the Company was awarded the "Advanced Individual on Safe Production in year 2008".
