BASF-YPC Company Limited will set about the site turnaround for the first time in 5 years from April 15th, 2010. All the plants will be shut down in a planned sequence.
The turnaround has been put on the schedule based on the following reasons and purposes:
1. To execute all the required mandatory inspections of the pressure equipments (vessels & pipelines) to fulfill national legal requirements and to guarantee safe operation of the Company.
2. To change catalyst and clean equipments and pipelines to ensure an efficient and continuous operability of all the plants.
3. To execute all the tie-ins and modifications for Integrated Petrochemical Site II project to avoid another shutdown of the plants in 2011.
The whole duration will be 59 days.
