On February 8, 2015, Huang Lixin, the Secretary of CPC Nanjing Municipal committee and member of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Standing Committee, paid a visit to BASF-YPC Company Limited (BYC).

Accompanied by Wang Jingyi, BOD Chairman of the Company, and Dr. Stephan Kothrade, President of the Company, Huang went to the plant site and listened to a detailed introduction on the economic situation and emission level of the Company. She visited the central control room of the superabsorbent plant which was put into operation last year. Standing in front of the control panel, she raised questions about the technology, the characteristics of products and the environmental protection level of BYC. During the course she learned that the Company applies the most modern, globally available technology from BASF with lowest emissions. For BYC, environmental protection, health and safety have the highest priority, which strengthens the Company's long-term successful development. In 2014 BYC again had an outstanding safety performance as a leader in this industry. Huang highly praised the achievements made by the Company, and required to continue to focus on EHS and improve the Company’s economic performance to be the role model for sustainable economic development and environmental protection in Nanjing. 

Long Xiang, Xiang Xuelong, Luo Qun and Hua Jing, leaders of Nanjing Municipality, participated the visit.
