With the support of the education bureau of Luhe district, BASF-YPC Company Limited (BYC) gave financial assistance to Ma’an Town Junior High School to upgrade its library by adding more books and facilities, thus enabling it to have a well-equipped library which provides a nice environment for study and communication.

On November 3, 2011, the unveiling ceremony of the new library was held. Dr. Blumenberg, President of BYC and Mr. Jin Qiming, deputy director of Luhe district among other guests attended the ceremony and visited the new library.

Developing education not only plays a crucial role in our country's current development but also in shaping its future. BYC views the supporting of education cause as an important means to achieve company’s value and bring the benefits to the society.

Over the years, in cooperation with the education bureau of Luhe district, BYC has made a lot of donations to many elementary and secondary schools in Luhe district to improve their finances and facilities. In addition, BYC has provided grant-in-aid and scholarship to those students who are from the poor families and who are excellent both in character and schooling.
