In order to share our values and principles with our business partners, on September 2nd, BASF-YPC Company Limited (BYC) held a forum titled with “Live Sustainable Development with Customers” attended by more than 60 customer representatives from 53 companies all over the country. It was the biggest customer-interaction activity since the Company's inception.

In the morning session, Dr. Ma Qiulin, Chairman of the Company made the welcome address and Dr. Blumenberg, President of the Company together with Mr. You Houping, Vice President and several General Managers and Directors gave their presentations respectively on the topics of “BYC Lives Sustainable Development”, “Process and production Safety”, “Sustainable Development–Contribution of the Chemical Industry”, “Road Transportation Standard at BYC”, “We Help Our Customers to Handle Chemicals Safely” and “BYC's Social Responsibility”.

After lunch break, the customer representatives visited the Plant Site, Emergency Response Center, Hazmat Truck and Central Medical Facility. After the tour, the guests and the colleagues from marketing departments were divided into groups to discuss their concerns and share their thoughts.

The representatives all agree: it is advanced and worth learning that BYC always puts safety and environmental protection concerns into construction, operation, production and transportation; It is also admirable that BYC adopts “We Help Our Customers Be More Successful”as a principle. BYC's experience shows that under the guidance of sustainable development, the enterprises can develop harmoniously together with the environment and the society.
