Luo Zhijun, Party Secretary of Jiangsu meets Martin Brudemueller and Sanjeev GandhiMarch 30, 2015

Luo Zhijun, Party Secretary of CPC Jiangsu Committee met Martin Brudermueller, Vice Chairman of Executive Directors, BASF SE and Sanjeev Gandhi, Member of the Board of Executive Directors on March 24, 2015. 

Brudermueller says the industry structure of Jiangsu is similar to Germany. It has solid industry development foundation and excellent investment environment, and has long been an important investment region for BASF. Chemical industry, being the start of value chain development, is a key industry for economic development. BASF hopes to deepen the cooperation with Jiangsu and use innovation as a bridge to widen the fields for cooperation. Brudermueller introduces Gandhi, Member of the Board of Executive Directors, who is going to take charge of Asia and Pacific business. 

Luo Zhijun states that Jiangsu is accelerating the pace of transformation through upgrade and scientific innovation, striving to develop high-end industry. He hopes that BASF and Germany industry will strengthen the cooperation with Jiangsu in industrial research, design, development and innovation, and play more important role in the campaign “Made in China 2025”. He expresses his thanks to BASF for the importance and supports given by BASF to Jiangsu. He commits that Jiangsu provincial government will continuously care and support the development of BYC and wishes the cooperation between BASF and Jiangsu will achieve new progress. 

Xu Nanping, vice governor of Jiangsu Province and Stephan Kothrade, President of BYC attended the meeting. 

Mrs. Huang Lixin, Party Secretary of CPC Nanjing Committee also met Brudermueller and Gandhi in Xuanwu hotel on March 24, 2015.
