The second round of Traffic Dialogue for IPS was held in Yangzi Guesthouse on 25th,June with attendance of Dr.Blumenberg, President of BASF-YPC Company Limited and Mr. Tan Xiaoping, General Manager of Human Resources and Administration Division of the company.
Representatives from Luhe District government, Yangzi Riparian Development Zone, Traffic Police Brigade, YPC and BASF-YPC Company Limited exchanged views on traffic safety. Mr. Chris Evans, HSE Manager of IMT submitted detailed proposals for improving traffic control around site. Mr.Yang Shouming, Director of Nanjing Municipal Public Security Bureau Pingdingshan Branch, introduced the proposed traffic control plan. The leaders of Luhe District government, Yangzi Riparian Development Zone and YPC agreed to support the proposals and plan.
It is forecast that the traffic control in surrounding area will be improved by rectification and administration before August when peak time of construction arrives to facilitate the smooth progress of IPS.
