On January 19, nearly 1200 employees of the Company gathered at Nanjing International Exhibition Center to celebrate the fruitful 2006 and prospect the more splendid 2007.

In the meeting, Dr. Blumenberg, president of the Company, expressed his gratitude to all the staff for their great efforts in the past year, which turned into satisfying economic results of the Company, then he elucidated on the major tasks this year, hoping all the staff to refresh themselves and make persistent efforts to accomplish them. Mr. Li Chengfeng, new BOD Chairman of the Company, delivered a warm speech, showing his contentment with the good economic results of the Company in 2006, yet expecting it to make greater achievements in 2007.

What made this annual meeting special? The two awarding ceremonies. This time 22 kids aged between 4 to 16 were invited, who are children of our employees and Top Prize winners in "BYC Kids Drawing Competition in 2006". Their arrival animated the whole gathering and the awarding ceremony attended by the top management and VIP guests really touched the hearts of their parents and everyone presented. Another one was concerning the improvement suggestion. Since October 2005, HR Department have received around 250 improvement suggestions and the first top reward went to Mr. Qu Xiaolin from C4-oxo,C1 Production Department for his suggestion to add an adjust valve on the inlet line of V1251, which saved a great amount of investment cost and had made and will continue to make a lot of profits to the Company.
