As the Spring Festival was drawing near, a team of senior staff of the Company, led by Mr. You Houping, Vice President, held a meeting with the representatives of local government and communities at the office of Management Committee of Yanjiang Industry Development Zone and sent them their best wishes for the new year. The meeting was on the relationship of the Company with local government and communities in 2005.

Mr. You Houping thanked the local government and communities for their great support and said the Company would pursue a more harmonious relationship with them this year by further improving its work of environmental protection, health and safety and strengthening bilateral communications. The representatives of the local government spoke highly of the Company for its vigorous contribution to the development of local economy and said that they attached great importance to the Company's IPS Project and regarded it as their obligation to create a stable and favorable environment for the operation of the Company. Then all the attendees held an animated discussion on how to further strengthen the currently friendly and cooperative ties. At last, Mr. Paul Van Hoyweghen, General Manager of Safety, Environment, Engineering and Maintenance Division, presented the donation for poor families of local communities for the Spring Festival to their representative on behalf of the Company and wished them happy new year.
