From June 25 to 26, 2009, the C.A.R.E Campaign swept over BASF-YPC Company Limited (BYC). It was an innovative initiative to promote safe operation concept all over the Company, with C representing communication, A representing awareness, R representing responsibility and E standing for excellence.
On the site of C.A.R.E. Campaign, Mr. Cong Yuezi, Director of Nanjing Safety Supervision Bureau, Mr. Liu Chunping, Vice Director of HSE Division of SINOPEC, and Dr. Tilman Krauch, President of BASF Asia Pacific, made warm speeches respectively, then they joined Dr. Blumenberg, President of BYC, Mr. You Houping, Vice President of BYC, and Mr. Zhang Minglong, Deputy General Manager of YPC, and other leaders, to commence the event. Then a brilliant show was put on by the employees. There were dances, short plays and games, all of which embracing the concept of safe operation.
