The Safety Production License renewal application was approved by Jiangsu Provincial Emergency Management Bureau.

BASF and SINOPEC jointly announced to further expand the Company by capacity expansion of several downstream chemical plants and a new tert-butyl acrylate plant (TBA). The expanded and new plants were expected to come on stream in 2023.

September 7

Being the largest buyer and one of the first pilot enterprises, the Company successfully secured 107 million kW.h till the end of 2022, under its first renewable power trading deal with CGN New Energy Jiangsu Branch. The renewable energy would be provided by solar photovoltaics fields.

The Company obtained the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) Advanced Certificate and was the first chemical enterprise in Nanjing with this qualification.

The first pilot project of rooftop PV (photovoltaic) panel power generation in BASF-YPC was successfully connected to the grid for operation.
